Your role is essential in maintaining cleanliness and safety across various locations, ensuring dignified access for all clients.

As a full-time Cleaner, you will report directly to the Operations Coordinator, engaging in tasks essential for infection control and maintaining a welcoming environment. You will work at CMHA Branch locations, including the Kenora Emergency Shelter and Supportive Housing. Your responsibilities encompass performing housekeeping tasks, adhering to schedules, and fostering health in spaces used by clients.

Key Responsibilities:

• Uphold cleaning standards across CMHA locations

• Perform general housekeeping, including dusting and mopping

• Deep clean washrooms and common areas as scheduled

• Communicate maintenance issues promptly to the coordinator

• Support adherence to safety regulations and infection protocols

Requirements:

• High school diploma or GED preferred

• Strong understanding of infection control practices

• Capacity to manage physically demanding tasks

• Ability to work independently and collaboratively

• First aid and CPR/AED certification or willingness to obtain
