Support the Sioux Lookout Meno Ya Win Health Centre as a Facility Maintenance Assistant, specializing in crucial maintenance services throughout the hospital and its grounds. Engage in various repair tasks while contributing to the overall safety of the environment.

This role requires an enthusiastic individual under the guidance of a Journeyman, executing general maintenance tasks ranging from plumbing to carpentry. You will be key in handling maintenance requests and ensuring proper functionality in all hospital areas. A mechanical background will facilitate efficient task performance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in plumbing, carpentry, and repairs

• Operate necessary equipment for grounds maintenance

• Collaborate with maintenance staff on projects

• Execute directives carefully and responsibly

• Handle routine, preventive, and emergency tasks

Requirements:

• Must possess a GED or Grade 12 diploma

• Valid driver’s license is essential

• Ability to lift over 40 lbs consistently

• Strong mechanical and technical skills required

• Previous experience is desirable
