Rate of Pay: $26.49 - $29.10 / hour

Under the supervision of the Area Supervisor or designate, responsible for all caretaking aspects of the facility and grounds, within their respective worksite(s). Implements and follows guidelines within the Custodial Manual. The incumbent may be assigned to system-wide caretaking work where required.

Grade 12 education or equivalent, good communication skills, ability to perform duties of the position. Knowledge of commercial cleaning products, materials and applications as well as knowledge of cleaning procedures as they relate to public buildings. Must demonstrate an ability to follow oral and written instructions. This position will require a satisfactory Vulnerable Sector Check (VSC) or a Criminal Record and Judicial Matters Check (CRJMC) at the employee’s expense.
