Sioux Lookout Meno Ya Win Health Centre is hiring a Registered Nurse for the Emergency Room. Bring your assessment and intervention skills to excel in patient care.

The role requires current registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario and a minimum of one year of nursing experience. Ideal candidates will possess ACLS, PALS, and have excellent assessment and communication skills. The nurse will work closely with the interdisciplinary team to provide culturally competent care per hospital policies while managing a 12-hour shift rotation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform triage and assess patient care plans

• Collaborate within an interdisciplinary healthcare team

• Maintain accurate patient information and documentation

• Adapt swiftly to changing patient conditions

• Ensure compliance with infection control measures

Requirements:

• Current registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario

• Basic CPR (BLS) certification required

• Minimum one year of nursing experience preferred

• Certification in EKG/Dysrhythmia interpretation an asset

• Strong critical thinking and crisis intervention skills
