Registered Nurse in Emergency Services

Location: sioux lookout

Join Sioux Lookout Meno Ya Win Health Centre as a Registered Nurse within the Emergency Services team. Utilize your critical thinking and crisis intervention capabilities in patient care.
This position demands an active registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario, with prior nursing experience preferred. As a Registered Nurse, you'll collaborate with a dedicated team while ensuring effective communication and assessment skills are applied. The role involves working a 12-hour shift rotation and adhering strictly to hospital policies and safety regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Coordinate and evaluate patient care interventions

• Conduct triage and manage patient care plans

• Work collaboratively with healthcare professionals

• Maintain detailed and accurate patient records

• Follow infection control protocols and organizational policies
Requirements:

• Registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario

• Basic CPR (BLS) certification required

• Ideally, at least one year of nursing experience

• Capability in EKG/Dysrhythmia interpretation preferred

• Exceptional crisis management and assessment skills
