Registered Nurse Practitioner in ER

Join Sioux Lookout Meno Ya Win Health Centre as a Registered Nurse Practitioner in the Emergency Room. Focus on providing exceptional patient care while utilizing your advanced clinical skills and knowledge.
Reporting to the Patient Care Manager and Medical Director, this role emphasizes leadership and collaboration within a team-oriented environment. You will take part in developing, implementing, and evaluating patient care plans while mentoring staff to enhance their clinical competencies. You will also engage in research and education initiatives designed to improve overall patient and system outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Enhance patient care continuity through effective collaboration

• Manage acute and chronic health conditions within the NP scope

• Facilitate patient discussions regarding care plans and health

• Support nursing staff in challenging clinical situations

• Conduct diagnostic tests and follow-up responsibly
Requirements:

• Current registration as a Registered Nurse in Extended Class

• Preferred ACLS, NRP, and PALS certifications

• Strong analytical and conflict resolution skills

• Commitment to ethical practice and confidentiality

• Experience in patient-centered care practices
