Position: Attending Nurse Practitioner for Emergency Care
Location: Sioux Lookout

Make a difference in patient outcomes as an Attending Nurse Practitioner in Emergency Care at Sioux Lookout Meno Ya Win Health Centre. Leverage your extensive nursing experience and patient-centered care philosophy.

This role requires strong leadership as you work in collaboration with the Patient Care Manager and Medical Director. Your focus will be to enhance care through multidisciplinary teamwork, guidance, and mentorship of staff. You will also be responsible for initiating and evaluating care plans while conducting comprehensive health assessments tailored to individual patient needs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide clinical leadership and mentorship in the Emergency Room

• Engage in developing personalized care plans with patients

• Conduct health assessments and document clinical data accurately

• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams effectively

• Manage referrals to specialized services as required

Requirements:

• Registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario in Extended Class

• Preferred certifications in ACLS, NRP, and PALS

• Proven expertise in patient advocacy and counseling

• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills

• Commitment to ethical and professional standards
