Position: Public Health Nurse with Outreach Focus

Step into a Public Health Nurse role focusing on Outreach Services and Sexual Health programs. This full-time contract position supports vital public health initiatives across the community.
In this role, you will be an integral part of our public health team, engaging in planning, delivering, and assessing health programs aimed at priority populations. Collaboration with community partners and independent work will be essential to drive impactful health outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assess and deliver services to priority populations

• Collaborate effectively with local health agencies

• Plan and implement public health programs

• Provide health education tailored to community needs

• Participate in evaluations of health initiatives
Requirements:

• Current registration in good standing with the College of Nurses of Ontario

• Baccalaureate Degree in Nursing required

• CPR certification is mandatory;
Infection Control certification preferred

• Ability to work as part of an interdisciplinary team

• Familiarity with social determinants of health is a plus
