Location: Sioux Lookout

Join Sioux Lookout First Nations Health Authority as a full-time Nurse IV Nurse Practitioner in the Sioux Lookout area. Provide primary health care, support chronic illness management, and promote community health initiatives.

In this role, you'll be responsible for holistic care to diverse clients, including individuals and families. Collaborate with various health professionals to assess and diagnose health issues, integrating your knowledge of community health challenges, especially within First Nations populations. This position requires strong communication skills and the ability to work in a dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assess and diagnose client health conditions

• Support chronic illness management for clients

• Collaborate to promote healthy lifestyles and disease prevention

• Administer essential administrative duties

• Perform additional duties as assigned

Requirements:

• Registered Nurse in the extended class

• Minimum 3 years of NP experience

• Knowledge of First Nations health issues

• Proficient in electronic medical records

• Fluent in a First Nations dialect is an asset
