Position: Community-Focused Nurse Practitioner Role

This full-time position supports both individual and community health through the Extended Class scope of practice. You will work independently while actively integrating traditional practices into clinical care. Important duties include coordinating care plans, providing mentorship, and leading quality improvement initiatives in collaboration with other health professionals.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct diagnostics, treatment, and prescriptions within NP scope

• Monitor client health and coordinate care strategies

• Collaborate on integrated care solutions with the team

• Provide mentorship to staff and health students

• Lead efforts in program reviews and evaluations

Requirements:

• Registration in the Extended Class with the College of Nurses of Ontario

• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities

• Experience in Indigenous settings and cultural understanding

• Willingness to travel and engage with the community

• Valid driver's license and immunization proof required
