Sioux Lookout First Nations Health Authority is seeking a Nurse IV Nurse Practitioner to serve the Sioux Lookout area on a full-time basis. Focus on holistic health care for individuals, families, and diverse community groups.

In this position, you'll assess, diagnose, and support clients in managing acute and chronic health issues. This role emphasizes collaboration within the interdisciplinary team while addressing unique health challenges faced by the First Nations communities. Strong communication and relational skills are vital for success in this impactful role.

Key Responsibilities:

• Diagnose and assess client health statuses

• Aid clients in chronic illness management

• Promote healthy lifestyles within the community

• Handle necessary administrative duties efficiently

• Carry out other related responsibilities as assigned

Requirements:

• Current RN registration in the extended class

• Minimum 3 years of NP experience preferred

• Cultural awareness of First Nations health issues

• Familiarity with electronic health records

• Ability to communicate in a First Nations dialect is a plus
