Community Registered Practical Nurse in Ontario

Location: Dryden

Become a vital part of patient care as a Registered Practical Nurse with Para Med, serving communities in Dryden and Sioux Lookout, Ontario. This part-time role focuses on home care nursing and offers flexible scheduling.

As a Registered Practical Nurse, you'll visit patients in their homes, providing ethical nursing care tailored to various complexities. Collaborate with registered nurses for ongoing support, ensuring quality assessments and personalized care plans. This position allows you to build meaningful relationships while promoting patient comfort and well-being.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct scheduled visits to meet patient care needs

• Provide ethical and safe nursing care

• Utilize assessment tools to evaluate patient requirements

• Adjust care plans based on continuous monitoring

• Maintain professional records of patient encounters

Requirements:

• Registration with the CNO as an RPN

• Valid driver’s license and access to a vehicle

• Experience in community care is an asset

• Reliability and flexibility required

• Willingness to travel for patient visits
