Advanced Nurse Practitioner in Substance Use Care

Location: Dryden

Provide evidence-based treatment for substance use disorders as an Advanced Nurse Practitioner at Dryden Regional Health Centre. Drive quality care for patients with addiction-related challenges.

This permanent full-time position involves working in a supportive environment to assess, diagnose, and coordinate treatment plans for individuals facing substance use disorders. You'll collaborate across various health services to facilitate access to crucial addiction medicine resources while ensuring holistic patient care and support.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage comprehensive assessments and treatment plans

• Deliver evidence-based medication-assisted therapy

• Conduct diagnostic testing and health evaluations

• Offer health education and counseling strategies

• Work with a multidisciplinary team to ensure seamless care

Requirements:

• Valid RN(EC) certificate from Ontario

• Bachelor’s degree in Nursing and completed NP education

• Experience with addictions preferred

• Advanced assessment and communication skills

• Valid driver's license and access to a vehicle
