Join NORTHERN NISHNAWBE EDUCATION COUNCIL as a Casual Registered Nurse at Pelican Falls First Nations High School in Sioux Lookout, Ontario. Provide vital healthcare services to students in a supportive environment.

This role involves delivering medical support during school hours, assessing student health needs, and creating treatment plans. You will work Monday to Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., providing essential medical services including medication administration and first aid. The ideal candidate is compassionate and skilled in both nursing and cultural awareness.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide general health care services to students

• Assess and develop treatment plans for individual needs

• Administer medications and first-aid as required

• Maintain student medical records securely and accurately

• Collaborate effectively with other health professionals

Requirements:

• Registered Nurse or Bachelor of Science in Nursing

• Good standing with the College of Nurses of Ontario

• Certified in CPR and First Aid

• Knowledge of Native culture and traditions

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
