Become a part of NORTHERN NISHNAWBE EDUCATION COUNCIL as a Casual Registered Nurse at Pelican Falls First Nations High School in Sioux Lookout, Ontario. Deliver essential health services to enhance student well-being.

In this role, you will assess the medical needs of students and provide tailored support during school hours. The position demands teamwork with other health providers while maintaining a clean, positive environment. You will conduct regular health check-ins and liaise with parents and staff for the best outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assess and provide nursing services to students

• Develop and execute personalized treatment plans

• Administer medications and handle emergencies

• Maintain on-site clinic and health records confidentiality

• Participate in team meetings and collaboration

Requirements:

• Registered Nurse or Bachelor of Science in Nursing

• In good standing with the College of Nurses of Ontario

• CPR and First Aid certification required

• Understanding of Native culture is essential

• Valid Class “G” Driver’s License
