Location: Sioux Lookout

Join Sioux Lookout Meno Ya Win Health Centre as a licensed RPN in the Med-Surg unit. Deliver exceptional nursing interventions aligned with the College of Nurses standards while providing respectful, culturally competent care.

As an RPN, you will assess, plan, and implement interventions for patients, ensuring compliance with hospital goals. You must have current certificates in CPR and pharmacology, and ideally possess up to one year of relevant experience.

Your role requires effective communication skills and a multi-disciplinary approach to nursing care.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assess and provide nursing interventions for assigned patients

• Communicate effectively with staff and residents

• Adapt to 12-hour shift rotations

• Prioritize and organize patient care effectively

• Maintain compliance with hospital policies and infection control measures

Requirements:

• Current RPN license with the College of Nurses of Ontario

• CPR and pharmacology certification required

• 6 months to 1 year of nursing experience preferred

• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written

• Knowledge of First Nations culture is an asset
