The Municipality of Sioux Lookout seeks a dedicated Health and Safety Advisor. This full-time role requires expertise in occupational health and safety, with a focus on compliance and policy development. You will conduct workplace inspections, administer employee training, and manage health records to support a culture of safety.

Key Responsibilities:

• Coordinate the occupational health and safety program

• Review and maintain health and safety policies

• Schedule and support Healthy and Safety Committee meetings

• Conduct workplace inspections and hazard assessments

• Administer employee onboarding and training sessions

Requirements:

• Diploma in Human Resources or Occupational Health & Safety

• Minimum two years in HR/safety environment

• Strong knowledge of safety legislation

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and digital records
