Stock Unloader Associate

Position Summary

Working as a Stock Unloader Associate at Walmart Canada is an excellent opportunity to build hands‑on experience in a fast‑paced retail environment. • Receiving and Unloading Merchandise
  • Prepares and resets the Receiving Area and unloads general merchandise trailers, including completing live unloading of remaining merchandise.
• Handle and Move Merchandise Safely
  • Maintains cold chain standards for refrigerated and frozen products and pulls pallets of merchandise to the sales floor for overnight processing.
• Stocking and Customer Support
  • Assists with stocking the sales floor as assigned and provides customer service when needed to support a positive shopping experience.
• Overstock Organization
  • Labels and places overstock merchandise in designated areas to support efficient inventory management.
• Maintain a Safe and Clean Work Environment
  • Follows Company policies and procedures to maintain a safe, clean, and hazard free workplace, including completing safety sweep logs and ensuring displays and fixtures are secure.
• Flexibility (Availability/Work Schedule)
  • Be open to working a variety of shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, based on business needs.

• High Task Volume in a Fast-Paced Environment
  • Manages overnight hours effectively and plans accordingly to stay energized and focused.
  • Effectively manages work hours and plans ahead to maintain energy and focus throughout the shift.
  • Handles a fast-paced workload with efficiency, ensuring large volumes of restocking and recovery are completed accurately and on time.
• Physical Demands
  • Performs physical tasks such as standing for extended periods, bending, and lifting inventory, equipment, or supplies weighing up to 20 lbs., and occasionally up to 50 lbs.
  • Performs repetitive tasks such as stocking, zoning, and organizing products with attention to detail and consistency to uphold store standards.
