Grocery Department Head Position

Location: Sioux Lookout

Lead the grocery department and elevate customer service standards while maintaining an organized sales space. As the Grocery Department Head, you'll collaborate with the Store Manager to optimize operations.

This role requires a dynamic individual with at least 2 years of grocery retail management experience. Key responsibilities include customer engagement, managing inventory levels, and ensuring appropriate merchandising of best-selling items. You'll oversee the sales area’s cleanliness, stock replenishment, and adherence to safety protocols while reporting directly to the Grocery Supervisor.

Key Responsibilities:

• Greet customers and provide top-tier service

• Manage inventory replenishment and presentation

• Prepare advertising setups and conduct hole checks

• Ensure conditions of refrigerated units meet standards

• Report hazards and complete E-Learning programs

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent

• Minimum 2 years experience in grocery management

• Strong leadership and communication skills

• Proven ability in inventory and merchandising management

• Capacity to operate machinery safely
