PFC Security Personnel Position

Location: Sioux Lookout

Join Pelican Falls Centre in Sioux Lookout, ON, as a dedicated Security Worker. This role involves monitoring the premises and managing visitor access with a strong focus on First Nations culture.

The Security Worker plays a critical role in protecting students and property at the Pelican Falls Centre, home to over 180 students. Candidates should exhibit self-motivation, exceptional communication skills, and professionalism while responding to incidents calmly. You will work a modified schedule, including evenings and weekends throughout the school year.

Key Responsibilities:

• Screen, admit, and log visitors at the gatehouse

• Patrol grounds and address unusual occurrences promptly

• Provide general information to visitors within boundaries

• Maintain daily logs and incident reports efficiently

• Liaise with local police and fire departments professionally

Requirements:

• Grade 12 diploma or equivalent

• Relevant security or night watch experience

• Strong communication skills, both oral and written

• Must hold a valid Driver’s License
