Speech-Language Pathologist Position

Position: Full-Time Speech-Language Pathologist Position
Shape the futures of young students at Rainy River District School Board as a Speech-Language Pathologist. This full-time position combines language assessments with targeted intervention strategies.

The school board is looking for a passionate Speech-Language Pathologist for a 1.0 FTE role at the Education Centre. Candidates must have a Master’s degree and a minimum of three years’ experience in school environments, particularly with preschoolers and school-aged children. You will play a key role in developing and implementing speech programs tailored to students’ needs while collaborating with educators and families.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct speech assessments for students with challenges

• Design and implement customized speech programs

• Advise staff and parents on effective intervention

• Monitor student progress through direct involvement

• Maintain detailed records and evaluate case loads

Requirements:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology required

• Registration with CASLPO or eligibility

• At least 3 years of experience with children

• Knowledge of school system practices

• Valid driver’s license for travel
