Frontline Support Worker Family Programs

Location: Dryden

Join Anishinaabe Abinoojii Family Services as a Frontline Support Worker focused on family support programs. Provide essential assistance to children and families, facilitating resource access and support.

This six-month contract role involves directly supporting children, youth, and families through community resources and service planning. As a Frontline Support Worker, you will engage in mentorship, promote positive parenting, and strengthen family relationships. Collaborating with various partners, you'll ensure culturally appropriate services and interventions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide direct support to families in need

• Assist families in accessing community resources

• Support family service plan implementations

• Promote positive parenting and communication

• Engage youth through mentorship and activities

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s in Social Work or related field

• Experience with children, youth, and families

• Knowledge of Child, Youth and Family Services Act

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

• Valid Ontario G Driver’s Licence and vulnerable sector check
