We are seeking a dependable Machine Operator to support our Public Works team in Sioux Lookout. This role requires experience with loaders, graders, and plows while maintaining safety in all weather conditions. Key responsibilities include performing daily equipment inspections and addressing road maintenance needs effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate municipal equipment for road and sidewalk maintenance

• Perform snow and ice control, including plowing and sanding

• Assist with landfill operations and cemetery tasks as needed

• Conduct daily inspections and minor repairs on equipment

• Respond to emergencies and changing weather conditions

Requirements:

• Valid DZ driver’s license with a good driving record

• Experience operating heavy equipment and road maintenance

• Strong safety awareness and attention to detail
