Support highway safety as a Seasonal Maintenance Worker/Operator at Emcon Services Inc. in Kenora, Ontario. This position is ideal for experienced operators wanting full-time hours with a unionized environment.

Reporting to the Road Superintendent, the Seasonal Maintenance Worker/Operator executes vital tasks for highway maintenance. Your work will involve snow plowing, traffic management, and performing maintenance to ensure safe road conditions throughout the year.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct summer and winter maintenance operations on highways

• Plow snow and apply sand during inclement weather

• Manage traffic control and emergency response activities

• Maintain and assist with minor repair of equipment and vehicles

• Take on additional tasks as directed

Requirements:

• Minimum DZ license required; AZ license preferred

• Background in provincial or municipal highway maintenance

• Friendly and cooperative demeanor with the public

• Dependable and willing to adhere to shifts

• Physically fit for performing maintenance duties
