Seasonal Operator for Highway Maintenance

In this role, you will report to the Road Superintendent, engaging in diverse highway operations from emergency responses to right-of-way maintenance. Candidates must possess a valid DZ license and highway maintenance experience. The position necessitates reliability and the ability to work shifts effectively within a unionized environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Carry out highway maintenance operations during summer and winter

• Perform tasks such as plowing and traffic control

• Maintain equipment and conduct minor repairs

• Patrol highway surfaces and perform shoulder maintenance

• Respond to emergency situations as required

Requirements:

• DZ license in good standing; AZ license preferred

• Practical experience in highway maintenance

• Helpful and courteous behavior with the public

• Commitment to punctuality and reliability

• Physically fit to handle highway maintenance demands
