Dock Worker Needed - Manitoulin Transport

Manitoulin Transport is seeking a dedicated Dock Worker for the night shift. Engage in loading, unloading, and documenting freight while ensuring a safe work environment.

In this crucial role, you will collaborate with Central Dispatch to set up shifts effectively. Responsibilities include loading inbound and outbound trailers, distributing freight to P&D drivers, and managing documentation for any freight discrepancies. Keeping the warehouse clean and adhering to safety policies is a must, necessitating your attention to detail and commitment to safety.

Key Responsibilities:

• Organize shift setups with Central Dispatch

• Load and unload trailers accurately

• Distribute freight efficiently to drivers

• Document and track cargo issues diligently

• Maintain cleanliness in the yard and warehouse

Requirements:

• Minimum forklift experience required

• Strong organizational abilities needed

• Must lift up to 50 lbs safely

• Availability for night shifts from 9 PM to 5 AM

• Ability to work safely in a busy environment
