Jockey is seeking a Copywriter to join our Marketing team at our corporate headquarters in Kenosha, WI, located between Chicago, IL and Milwaukee, WI.

Job Summary

The Copywriter will develop written copy that reflects the tone and style of the Jockey brand across all touchpoints, including catalog, advertising, ecommerce, packaging, public relations, wholesale, and retail.

Essential Functions
  • Develop consumer-centric marketing copy for product-related collateral to optimize sales across multiple channels.
  • Build effective relationships internally and externally, collaborating across departments.
  • Participate in product development by creating consumer-facing positioning statements for testing.
  • Review and proofread all collateral at various production stages.
  • Write copy for slogans, headlines, direct mail, web content, commercials, scripts, catalogs, billboards, brochures, postcards, print ads, packaging, email blasts, POS, social media, etc., ensuring compliance with brand guidelines and persuasive messaging.
  • Manage translation requests and maintain related documents.
  • Attend meetings with management and departments to develop accurate, consumer-friendly product copy.
    • Minimum Qualifications
  • 3-5 years of copywriting or related experience.
  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field preferred.
  • Experience in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
  • Strong writing, communication, organizational, and project management skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Project management software experience is a plus.
