The Boys & Girls Club of Kenosha offers an array of activities designed to meet the unique interests and needs of young people throughout the Kenosha community. Employees at the Club exhibit passion and commitment that helps our community thrive.

We are looking for someone to greet members by name and check members into the club daily, making sure they are logged in appropriately. Greet and welcome parents and visitors. This is a part‑time position.

Title

Membership Specialist

The Membership Specialist responsibilities include:
  • Greet all visitors, guests and volunteers and have them sign into the guest book
  • Answer the Club phone and greet callers
  • Log in each member as they enter the Club and greet them by name
  • Log out all members as they leave the Club
  • Implement and enforce all Club rules and policies with the members
  • Enter all new membership applications into the Membership Tracking System
  • Create membership/program reports
  • Model and encourage positive and constructive behavior to all members
  • Enter all program attendance into the Membership Tracking system daily
  • Ensure a team-based work environment by communicating effectively and positively with supervisors, co‑workers, and volunteers.
  • May be asked to participate in special programs and or events. These events may be scheduled at times when the Club is not open.
The successful candidate will have the following qualifications:
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Ability to work scheduled hours
  • Experience working with youth ages 6–18
  • Ability to effectively operate a computer and programs used by the Club
  • Strong verbal and written communications skills
  • Ability to motivate youth and manage behavior
Hours

3 to 8 pm, Monday through Friday. On non‑school days, the hours are from 12 to 5 pm.
