We are seeking a detail-oriented and results-driven Process Engineer to join our Engineering team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, optimizing, and maintaining manufacturing and process systems across the lifecycle, from conception through to certification. This role blends traditional process engineering with advanced product design, continuous improvement, and R&D initiatives, with a strong focus on centrifuge technology.

Duties & Responsibilities- Develop, configure, and optimize industrial processes from inception through to start-up and certification.
- Design, run, test, and upgrade systems and processes.
- Analyze existing processes and workflows to identify areas for improvement.
- Implement process improvements to enhance production rates, efficiencies, yields, costs, and changeovers.
- Utilize Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies to drive continuous improvement initiatives.
- Ensure that processes comply with safety and quality standards.
- Develop and implement process control techniques and procedures in manufacturing environments.
- Conduct process capability studies and implement process control strategies.
- Collect, record, and interpret data on process performance.
- Develop and maintain documentation for processes and systems.
- Prepare reports and presentations for management on process performance and improvement initiatives.
- Identify and implement cost-saving initiatives.
- Monitor and control production costs and expenses.
- Assist in budget preparation and financial planning related to process improvements.
- Design and develop new centrifuge systems and components based on market needs and technological advancements.
- Conduct research and feasibility studies to innovate and improve existing products.
- Perform simulations, modeling, and analysis to ensure the reliability and efficiency of designs.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including manufacturing, quality assurance, and marketing, to bring new products from concept to production.
- Develop and execute test plans to validate design performance and compliance with industry standards.
- Analyze test data and iterate designs to achieve optimal performance and reliability.
- Prepare technical documentation, including design specifications, test reports, and user manuals.
- Stay updated with industry trends, emerging technologies, and advancements in centrifuge engineering.
- Provide technical support and guidance to production teams during the manufacturing process.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards throughout the design and development process.
- Bachelor’s degree in chemical engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field. An advanced degree is preferred.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in process engineering or a similar role in a manufacturing environment.
- Proven experience in process optimization, continuous improvement, and project management.
- Experience with Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment and lead cross-functional projects.
- In-depth understanding of process engineering principles and practices.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation (if travel is required).
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in mechanical engineering or a related field.
- Proven experience in centrifuge design and development, preferably in an R&D environment.
- Strong knowledge of mechanical engineering principles, fluid dynamics, and material science.
- Proficiency in Solid Works.
- Hands-on experience with prototyping, testing, and troubleshooting mechanical systems.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced setting.
- Knowledge of industry standards and regulations related to centrifuge systems.

- Able to travel a minimum of 50%.
