Outpatient Radiation Oncology department equipped with 2 Linear Accelerators
, providing high-quality cancer care to an adult-only patient population in a collaborative and well-supported environment.

The Radiation Therapist is responsible for delivering prescribed radiation therapy treatments accurately and safely using advanced radiation equipment. This role requires proficiency with Varian True Beam and ARIA
, strong attention to detail, and a patient-centered approach to care.

• Linear Accelerators: 2

• Average Daily Census: 20–45 patients

• Patient Population: Adult oncology patients (all cancer-related diagnoses)

• Patient Ratio: 2:1

• Experience: Minimum 1 year with Varian True Beam and ARIA

  • BLS

  • ARRT – Radiation Therapy

• Administer radiation treatments as prescribed by the Radiation Oncologist

• Operate and maintain Linear Accelerator equipment safely and accurately

• Perform patient setup, positioning, and immobilization procedures

• Verify treatment plans and parameters using ARIA EMR

• Monitor patients during treatment and ensure comfort and safety

• Adhere to radiation safety standards and departmental protocols

• Collaborate with Radiation Oncologists, Physicists, RNs, and therapy staff

• Document treatments and patient interactions accurately

Required:

• Varian True Beam experience

• ARIA EMR proficiency

• Linear Accelerator operation

• Radiation treatment delivery

Preferred:

• DIBH (Deep Inspiration Breath Hold)

• SBRT (Stereotactic Body Radiation Therapy)

• Lead Radiation Therapist

• Radiation Therapists

• Providers and Leadership

• Dedicated RN support

• EMR: ARIA

• Equipment: Varian True Beam Linear Accelerators

• Facility and unit orientation up to 1 week
