Desktop Support Technician

Description

Our client is looking for a Desktop Support Technician to provide onsite support to 400+ users across the County, primarily at the Public Safety Building and four nearby sites within 2–3 miles of the primary site. You will work with a team of six other DTS Techs to install and maintain desktop and mobile devices, apply patches, perform deployments, and replace hardware.

• Install and image machines using SCCM or Intune
• Push software patches and updates
• Swap hardware components and troubleshoot equipment
• Set up new users with OS, O365, Active Directory, and security profiles
• Provide troubleshooting and support for Windows 10 desktop issues
• Follow Standard Operating Procedures and maintain documentation

• Intermediate level experience as a Desktop Support Technician in a similar sized organization
• Proficiency with SCCM, Intune, Windows 10, Office 365, Active Directory, and Windows deployment tools
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Ability to work independently in an on‑site environment 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday–Friday

Contract position based out of Kenosha, WI.
