Maintenance Operator Wed-Sat 7pm-5:30am at  US.

The Maintenance Mechanic position requires a skilled maintenance mechanic to inspect and repair material handling equipment and perform minor building repairs. Follow corporate and site-specific Good Manufacturing Practices and report noncompliance when observed. Observe all company safety rules and assist in enforcement as appropriate.

• Performs equipment setup, operation, tests, calibrations, adjustments, and minor preventative maintenance tasks on production equipment.
• Maintains production machines and equipment, cleans equipment, and ensures the work floor is clean, safe, and well maintained.
• Assembles and tests all components to ensure equipment is safe and in working order before it is put into production.

• Should have excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to effectively manage time and meet all specified deadlines.
• Sound understanding of using electrical testing and repair of material handling equipment and ability to use electrical testing tools.
• Ability to use various power and hand tools efficiently.
• Ability to operate a forklift.
• Should follow oral or written instructions and establish and maintain effective working relationships.
• High School Diploma or GED, or equivalent combination of experience and education.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, extend, reach, and twist for long periods.

Shift: Sun-Wed 7pm-5:30am. Salary range $25-28 per hour plus $2.00 shift differential.
