Job Description
At Ariens Co in Kenosha, Wisconsin, we’re looking for a talented Forklift Operator – Power Equipment earning $22/hr if you are safety‑conscious, precise, and love teamwork, join our dynamic family to help power the great outdoors.
Shift: Monday–Friday 8:00 am – 4:30 pm.
Responsibilities- Collaborate within a team responsible for the safe handling of materials essential for outdoor power equipment manufacturing.
- Precisely handle raw materials and parts, ensuring they are stored in designated locations.
- Proficiently operate forklifts and other material‑handling equipment.
- Maintain strict adherence to established standard work procedures to ensure consistency and quality.
- Assist team members in various areas to collectively achieve daily production targets.
- Record essential information in compliance with standard work protocols.
- Efficiently load and unload materials and units onto trucks as needed.
- Enter material‑movement data into the AS400 system for accurate tracking.
- Deliver the right parts in the correct quantities to assembly cells or work centers on time.
- Offload incoming products and transfer them to designated storage locations.
- Support set‑up duties as needed to ensure smooth operations.
- Collaborate with team members across departments to meet daily production targets.
- Perform other duties as requested.
- Effective communication skills within a team and across all levels.
- Physical endurance: ability to stand for extended periods (often >8 hours/day).
- Manual dexterity for accurate part handling.
- Ability to lift up to 35 lbs on occasion.
- PPE compliance for safety.
- Team collaboration mindset.
- Experience operating forklifts and other material‑handling equipment (Stand‑up or Reach Truck preferred).
