We are currently seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team as an Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON). This is an exciting opportunity to grow your leadership skills and make a meaningful impact alongside a strong, supportive leadership team

• Assist the DON in managing the day-to-day operations of the nursing department.

• Supervise nursing staff, ensure high-quality resident care, and provide clinical guidance as needed.

• Participate in staff hiring, training, evaluations, and disciplinary processes.

• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations as well as company policies.

• Participate in care planning, quality improvement initiatives, and interdisciplinary team meetings.

• Develop, implement, and monitor infection prevention and control programs in accordance with CDC, OSHA, and state/local health department guidelines.

• Conduct routine infection surveillance and audits; track, analyze, and report trends.

• Provide staff training on infection prevention protocols, standard precautions, PPE usage, and outbreak management.

• Investigate and document infection outbreaks and implement corrective actions.

• Collaborate with medical staff, housekeeping, dietary, and other departments to ensure a safe and sanitary environment.

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Wisconsin

• Experience in long-term care settings Required

• Infection Preventionist certification (or willing to obtain)

• Prior leadership or ADON experience preferred

• Strong knowledge of infection control standards and nursing best practices

• Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills
