Registered Nurse (RN) - Full-Time/Part-Time All Shifts

Located at North Shore Health, Willowcrest Health Services.

Under the supervision of the Unit Manager/ADON/DON, the RN assumes responsibility and accountability for a group of residents/patients for a shift of duty. Nursing care is provided through assessment, implementation, and evaluation of the plan of care. The RN adheres to the standards of care for the area, manages the environment to maintain resident/patient safety, and supervises the resident/patient care activity performance by nursing assistants and helpers.

Follows all North Shore’s policies and procedures. Performs duties as defined by the State Nurse Practice Act. Follows where applicable JCAHO standards.

• Provide direct nursing care to residents/patients.
• Develop, implement, and evaluate care plans.
• Ensure safety and quality of care in accordance with policies.
• Supervise nursing assistants and helpers.
• Maintain accurate documentation.
• Respond to medication orders and administer medications safely.

• Registered Nurse with an active license.
• Heart for elder care.
• Teamwork, accountability, and pride in work.
• Current CPR certification.
• Proficiency with nursing supplies and equipment (feeding pumps, oxygen, medication cart, etc.).
• Ability to calculate drug dosage.
• Meet all health requirements imposed by law.
• Positive, effective communication with residents, families, community members, volunteers, and staff.
• Basic computer knowledge and willingness to learn company applications.
• Experience in skilled nursing preferred, but new graduates welcome with training and support.
