JOB REQUIREMENTS:

LINE COOK $17.00/HR. The Stella Hotel & Ballroom is looking for fun and outgoing people to work on our team as part time Line Cooks. We offer flexible work schedules, cross‑training in a variety of positions, and the opportunity to learn the hotel industry in a “hands‑on deck” environment.

• Work in a designated station as set by the Executive Chef and/or Sous Chef.
• Organize the assigned work area and efficiently put away orders.
• Produce quality product in a timely and efficient manner for guests.
• Cook food according to recipes, quality standards, presentation standards, and food preparation checklist.
• Check supplies and prep lists and ensure all items are prepped in a timely fashion.
• Communicate assistance needed during busy periods and report any incidents to the Sous Chef to ensure optimum service to guests.
• Wash and disinfect kitchen area, workstations, tables, tools, knives and other equipment.
• Minimize waste and maintain controls to attain forecasted food cost.

• Previous experience as a cook.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Dependability and regular attendance.
• Ability to work evenings and weekends.
