Maintenance Technician – The Stella Hotel & Ballroom

We are looking for motivated and hard‑working individuals who are committed to providing first‑class customer service and maintenance in a safe, attractive, and comfortable condition for our guests.

• Respond to service requests throughout the hotel per work orders following company procedures.
• Unit preparation including painting, cleaning, repairing and/or replacing appliances, plumbing, electrical fixtures, etc.
• Preventive maintenance by inspecting grounds, property, plumbing, electrical fixtures and appliances for repair, wear, and damage.
• Emergency maintenance when needed.
• Clean and supply designated areas; pick up trash on property assisting housekeeping team.
• Report needed repairs to Chief Engineer or General Manager.
• Assist with other types of maintenance as assigned.
• Maintain confidentiality of co‑workers, management, owners, past and current guests, vendors and all outside contacts.
• Attend all instructional classes conducted by management.

• Previous maintenance experience required.
• Excellent mechanical aptitude and experience servicing, troubleshooting, diagnosing, repairing and installing HVAC, electrical, plumbing, drywall, carpentry and standard appliances.
• Familiarity with gas turnoffs, clean‑out traps, fire extinguishers and fire hydrants.
• Ability to read work orders / service requests.
• Good safety habits.
• Effective communication skills with a wide range of people.
• On‑call for emergency duty when assigned.
