Mechanic II - Transit

Government Jobs - Regular - Full Time - $28.07 - $41.87 Hourly Under general supervision of the mechanic supervisor, performs skilled maintenance and repair work on City vehicles, light /heavy trucks, buses, streetcars, off-road equipment, turf tractors and various contractor's equipment.  Incumbent also performs welding and fabricating as needed, and performs diagnostic testing on equipment and vehicles. Work is reviewed through conference and written reports for adherence to established policies and procedures.  

Performs other work as requested or assigned. This position will remain open until the needs of the City have been met.
