Position: Instrumental Music Teacher for Grade 3 to High School
Ignite a passion for music as an Instrumental Music Teacher, overseeing programs from Grade 3 strings to High School Orchestra. Collaborate with faculty to foster a vibrant school music culture.

This full-time position requires leading instrumental programs across several grade levels, including Lower School Wind and String Ensembles and the High School Orchestra. You will work closely with private music instructors and other teachers, integrating music into the overall curriculum and enhancing student experiences through performances and festivals.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead Lower School Wind Ensemble and String Ensemble classes

• Oversee High School Orchestra operations

• Coordinate with private music teachers for student progress

• Conduct performances and festivals for the music department

• Collaborate with faculty to enhance the music curriculum

Requirements:

• Music Education Degree or equivalent experience

• Two years of teaching or related experience

• Comfort working with Winds and Strings

• Ability to engage in collaborative community efforts

• Willingness to learn Waldorf teaching methods
