Basic Function:
Kent State University’s Department of Computer science is seeking applicants to fill a Tenure-Track position in the broad field of Artificial Intelligence with a particular focus on Natural Language Processing, Large Language models, Large Foundation models, explainability, fairness, and prompt engineering.
Minimum qualifications:
Expected qualifications include a Ph.D. in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field. We encourage strong applicants with industrial experience, as well as related post-doctoral trainees.
The position is available at the Assistant Professor rank. Candidates at the Associate Professor level will be considered but will be expected to have a history of extramural funding.
