Basic FunctionTo coordinate student financial aid programs; to ensure departmental compliance with federal, state, and University regulations. Reports to designated supervisor.

Examples of Duties- Coordinate student financial aid programs; ensure a high level of quality service within the department; may coordinate and implement training procedures for department staff; may supervise and coordinate reception services.
- Develop reports to ensure compliance with all federal, state, and University policies and guidelines regarding financial aid; review federal and state regulatory updates and determine impact on Institutional compliance issues.
- Counsel and advise students and parents regarding financial aid questions and concerns.
- Assist with development and implementation of University policy related to awarding of financial aid.
- Conduct informational presentations on the financial aid process.
- Compile, analyze, and report data on student aid programs.
- Determine eligibility, award packages, and adjust student financial aid packages.
- Provide functional guidance of administrative/professional employees and/or direct supervision of support staff on an ongoing basis.
- May provide ongoing facilitation of consecutive projects.
- May assist in the oversight of a specific financial aid compliance process (i.e., Gainful Employment and Financial Value Transparency, Consumer Information, NSLDS, Satisfactory Academic Progress, Special Circumstances, Verification, etc.).
- Perform related duties as assigned.

Minimum QualificationsBachelor's degree in a relevant field; two years of experience in student financial aid.
License/CertificationNone.
