Position OverviewDavey Resource Group, Inc., “DRG”, is seeking hard working, experienced person(s) with a strong background in AutoCAD to provide support to engineers and other designers by preparing routine layouts, details, sketches and diagrams.
Responsibilities- Draw finished designs from initial sketches.
- Conduct site visits to collect the needed field data and to produce sketches of existing conditions.
- Provide collaborative support to work on production jobs by assisting with drawings, preparation, file maintenance, and organization.
- Meet and communicate with internal team members and external clients to review ongoing design work and provide project updates.
- Utilize knowledge of engineering practices, mathematics, and other physical sciences to complete drawings.
Potential candidates must be a high school graduate and have an associates’s degree in computer aided drafting and math, and or equivalent experience and training.
Candidate(s) must be proficient in the use of Microsoft Office programs and Google Suite. Applicants must possess a valid driver's license and have a good driving record. Long hours and some travel may be required. We are seeking teamwork-players with excellent written and oral communication skills, professional work ethic with attention to detail and safety.
