• Recruit top talent and interview to meet salon staffing requirements.
• Evaluate team member performance by consistently meeting, formulating, and documenting individual goals.
• Consult with clients and apply appropriate service techniques.
• Recommend and participate in all approved local marketing initiatives, including coupon campaigns and client appreciation events.
• Educate clients and team members about proper home hair care and recommend services and products.
• Lead and inspire the team, ensuring client satisfaction and building client loyalty.
• Provide customized consultations and state the final price before the service begins.
• Complete all required salon leadership administrative tasks: POS ticket closing, timecards, inventory control, onboarding, and scheduling.
• Communicate effectively and positively with all parties.
• Meet or exceed personal/salon productivity standards set by Regis.
• Protect salon assets, emphasizing cash handling procedures.
• Lead, train, and model all services offered at the salon.
• Maintain flexibility in scheduled shifts, including potential night and weekend shifts.
• Attend all required technical training sessions.
• Join all virtual and in‑person meetings as directed by leadership.
• Enforce and model Regis policies as defined in the Handbook and salon procedures.

• Lead the team and work as a team‑player or independently.
• Market the salon and team in the community to increase clientele.
• Exhibit exceptional communication, organization, and problem‑solving skills.
• Provide consistent and excellent customer service.
• Multitask efficiently to complete salon duties (meetings, scheduling, cash management, reporting).
• Show willingness to learn new techniques and stay current with hair trends.
• Lead through change and apply effective coaching abilities.
• Travel to other salon locations as needed.
• Maintain full‑time status and meet business demands.
• Physical requirements:
  
  bending, sitting, twisting, turning, lifting (generally 10‑15 pounds), standing for extended periods.

• Three (3) years of experience as a Stylist (preferred).
• One (1) year of experience in a salon leadership role (preferred).

• Must maintain a valid cosmetology or barber's license.
• All SLs are required to complete assigned training as determined by Regis.
• All Supercuts (SC) SLs must have received their Hair Stylist Academy (HSA) completion certificate.

• The SL role is based at a Regis salon location (Supercuts, Holiday Hair, or Cost Cutters).
