Coleman Health Services a nationally recognized not-for-profit provider of behavioral health and rehabilitation programs is seeking a full-time Medical Accounts Receivable Clerk to work effectively and collaboratively as a team, interacting with clients, external care providers, consulting psychiatrist, other clinicians, administrative and support staff as it relates to posting medical insurance and board payments. This position is located in our Kent, Ohio, office.

- Post all payments from medical insurance and board payors with our electronic health records (EHR) system
- Reconcile bank account information with remits received
- Work with the Accounting and Revenue Cycle Management team for journal reconciliation and missing payments
- Processing any medical insurance refunds that are not processed via account recoupment processes
- Assist with special projects as needed

- High school diploma or equivalent
- Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, Windows and general computer knowledge
- 1-2 years' experience in a financial environment or equivalent education/certification
- Excellent attention to detail
