Position OverviewWe are seeking a strategic, results-driven General Manager to lead and oversee a designated business segment with full responsibility for growth, operations, financial performance, and team development. This role is accountable for driving sales growth, operational excellence, profitability, and compliance while aligning divisional initiatives with overall company objectives. The General Manager serves as a key leader and decision-maker, partnering closely with executive leadership, internal teams, and external stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and execute division-level strategies to drive growth and profitability.
- Establish goals, KPIs, and performance metrics to ensure accountability and results.
- Analyze market trends, customer needs, and competitive positioning to identify opportunities.
- Oversee daily operations to ensure efficiency, quality, safety, and regulatory compliance.
- Lead continuous improvement and process optimization initiatives.
- Own full P&L responsibility, including budgeting, forecasting, and cost control.
- Monitor financial performance and report results to senior leadership.
- Recruit, develop, and lead management and hourly teams to achieve high performance.
- Conduct performance reviews and manage employee relations matters as needed.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, vendors, and business partners.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with sales, marketing, finance, and HR teams.
- Serve as the primary liaison between the division and executive leadership.
- Participate in customer visits and support sales initiatives as required.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Management, or related field required; MBA strongly preferred.
- 5–10 years of progressive leadership experience, including at least 3 years in a mid‑to‑senior‑level management role overseeing multiple functions.
- Strong financial acumen with experience managing budgets, forecasts, and P&L performance.
- Proven ability to lead teams in fast‑paced, operationally complex environments.
- Deep understanding of manufacturing operations, raw materials, quality systems, safety, and continuous improvement.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and decision‑making skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and ERP systems.
- Primarily based in a manufacturing and warehouse environment.
- Requires regular movement throughout the facility, including standing and walking.
- Travel required as needed, including occasional long‑distance travel.
