Ministry Leader - Kent OH

Overview

Become the Ministry Leader for the Kent, OH campus of International Friendships, Inc. (IFI). In this role you will build relationships with international students, campus staff, churches, and volunteers while sharing the love of Jesus and supporting a welcoming community on campus.

Flexible full‑time or part‑time schedules. Overtime, weekends, and attendance at the annual IFI retreat may be required for specific events.

Salary range: $25,709 – $80,000 per year, based on experience and other factors. Salary is determined after training and the development of fundraising partnerships.

• Launch and grow the ministry location by building relationships with university staff, establishing partnerships with churches, mobilizing volunteers, and hosting Bible discussions and holiday or cultural events.
• Mentor at least one international student and share the love of Jesus on campus.
• Register IFI as a recognized student organization, maintain that registration, and foster a good relationship with other campus international organizations.
• Develop and maintain financial and prayer partnerships for the budgeted needs of the role by sharing the vision of the ministry.

The Ministry Leader must adhere to IFI’s statement of faith, core values, and policies. Candidates should be a person of character who faithfully extends God’s love globally and mobilizes Christians to communicate the Gospel across cultures.

• Demonstrated ministry, training, and mobilization experience required.
• Experience in cross‑cultural ministry is preferred.
• College degree preferred.
