Join Shoe Sensation! We are looking for an Assistant Manager to join our wonderful team. The role involves selling shoes to customers and managing the sales team. What you will do- Greet customers and guide them through the shopping experience.
- Sell shoes, apparel, and accessories to customers.
- Ring up sales using the computer, take cash, handle credit card transactions, and apply discounts.
- Help restock the sales floor.
- Keep store neat and clean.
- Assist the Store Manager in recruiting, hiring, and training the store sales team.
- Assist with coaching and discipline of the store sales team.
- Lead the team to ensure the best customer sales experience.
- Prepare and make deposits at the bank.
- Process freight and set up the sales floor as it arrives.

- Must be at least 18 years old with a valid driver’s license and personal transportation to take deposits to the bank.
- Want to teach others how to sell and learn how to be a people manager.
- Willing to open/close the store, knowing that there may be times alone in the store.
- Willing and able to stand and walk for long periods of time.
- Can kneel, twist, bend, climb a ladder, reach, stoop and lift 25-50 pounds.
