Maintenance Mechanic / Electrician
$30.00 per hour (based on experience) – 6:00 am to 4:30 pm, Mon‑Thurs. Base salary range: $55,000–$65,000 annually (without benefits, bonuses or other compensation).
Job DescriptionThe Maintenance Mechanic/Electrician is responsible for troubleshooting, repairing, and performing routine mechanical and electrical maintenance on manufacturing and facility equipment. This role supports the electrical installation of new, used, and relocated equipment while ensuring compliance with applicable codes and safety standards. The position requires collaboration with multiple teams, strong problem‑solving skills, and the ability to work independently. Overtime availability is required as business needs dictate.
Responsibilities- Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain manufacturing and facility equipment
- Perform electrical troubleshooting including VFDs and basic PLC/CNC systems
- Install electrical systems for new, used, and relocated equipment per code
- Perform basic machining, fabrication, and welding tasks as needed
- Maintain safety standards, complete work orders, and document daily activities
- High school diploma with electrical certification from a trade school or technical program
- 3–5 years of experience in an industrial maintenance environment
- Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and CAD drawings
- Ability to lift 50–100 lbs., work at heights, and in confined spaces
