Overview

Position: On-site Labor Foreman (Industrial Fence & Gates)

Wage Rate: $/hour, + performance-based bonuses. Higher wages are available based on location. Hours range from 40 to 60, depending on owner schedule. Weekends are not mandatory and uncommon.

Benefits: Includes, but is not limited to, health, pension/retirement, paid holidays, company vehicle & credit card, etc. Benefits will be provided through the union. Per diem and travel will be provided.

Locations: Traveling to OH, PA, MD, WV, IN, NY, NJ & VA. Other states may be available.

• Coordinate a crew to install high security fencing & gate systems.
• Perform pre-dig inspections for underground utilities; be highly aware of all hazards above and below ground in substations.
• Perform all layout for posts and grades. Install foundations and posts to grade. Complete framing and panels/chain link. Install gates. Install stone along fence lines as needed.
• Read & interpret plans and shop drawings.
• Office support will always be available to the foreman for assistance.
• Maintain safe practices amongst all crew members.
• Typical equipment used:
  Skid steers, telehandler, excavator, hydrovac trucks & man lifts. This individual will be working in live substations near energized equipment.

(Equivalent combinations of education, licenses, certifications and/or experience may be considered)

• Minimum of 3 years related experience as a foreman for industrial fencing.
• Union Member (or willingness to become union).
• Minimum of 3 years working in and around live substations.
• Ability to use computers and phones for timesheets and other reports.
• Knowledge of installing slide gates, gate operators and their accessories.
• Concrete forming experience for large foundations.
• Substation entry trained or badged.
• Valid Driver’s License required. CDL License is not required but preferred. CDL Training can be provided.
• OSHA 10 & OSHA 30 preferred.
• Drug Testing and Background Checks.
