Airbus Helicopters is the world's largest helicopter manufacturer, and the company's site at Oxford Airport is Britain's civil helicopter hub. AHUK offers considerable experience in helicopter sales, bespoke completions, maintenance, and spares support. Its in-house engineering capabilities include design, customisation, installation, flight-testing, and certification, as well as technical support, maintenance, training, and the supply of spares for civil and military applications.

An apprenticeship offer for a Commercial and Export Control Apprentice has just opened within Airbus Helicopters UK at our Oxford site . Description and Overall Purpose of the Job Hosted within the AHUK Commercial Team, you will work under the management and direction of the Export Control Officer, who will help you to identify your professional objectives and support you in the development of your skills.

No prior experience in Export Control is required, and full onboarding and training will be provided. As a Commercial and Export Control Apprentice, you will immerse yourself in the dynamic world of business development and sales, providing crucial operational support to our dedicated Commercial Team. In this role, you will gain hands-on experience by assisting with the preparation of commercial proposals, managing customer data, and supporting contract management processes.

You will liaise closely with cross-functional departments and external stakeholders, developing a deep understanding of our product portfolio and market strategy. You will interface with all levels within AHUK and the wider Airbus organisation, from the shop floor through to Senior Management. Execution of the role may involve some travel to other Airbus locations (predominantly France and Germany) as well as supplier and customer locations.
